General Terms

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by these terms and conditions. By placing an order through Our Blinds & Shutters Glasgow, you enter a legal agreement with us under these terms.

These terms are governed by Scottish Law, with disputes resolved exclusively by Scottish courts.

Returns & Damaged Goods

If your order arrives damaged or defective due to manufacturing or delivery issues, you must notify us within seven days of receipt. We only replace damaged goods on a like-for-like basis. Digital images of the defect may be required, or we may request the return of the product for inspection. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Order Cancellation

All our blinds and shutters are custom-made to your specifications. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, tailor-made products are non-cancellable once an order is placed. However, your legal rights remain unaffected if the product is faulty or not as described.

Measuring Guide & Responsibility

As all our products are made to measure, it is your responsibility to provide accurate window measurements. If you need assistance, please consult our online measuring guide or contact our customer support before ordering. We do not accept returns or provide refunds for incorrect measurements provided by the customer.

Made-to-Measure Products

Our blinds and shutters are custom-manufactured to your specifications and cannot be returned or cancelled after production. Please ensure your order details and measurements are correct before confirming your purchase.

Color Variations

Fabric batches may have slight shade differences, and samples sent to you may not match the final product exactly. Due to printing techniques, some pattern variations may occur.

Obstructions & Installation

Customers must notify us in writing of any obstructions such as cables, asbestos, flashings, or fragile plaster walls that may impact installation. Failure to do so may result in additional charges for modifications. We are not liable for costs arising from poor fixtures, weak plaster, or minor tile fractures caused by drilling.

Safety Compliance

We strictly adhere to safety regulations designed to prevent accidents involving blind cords. If safety devices are included with your order, they must be installed. If you refuse safety device installation, we will not proceed with fitting. Removal of safety devices may place you in breach of legal requirements.

Tilt & Turn Windows & Blackout Products

Tilt and turn windows fitted with our products may have opening restrictions. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. Blackout blinds and curtains are designed for room darkening, but no blackout product is 100% light-proof except for Velux models.
